Priority Registration Windows:

• July 9–16: Holy Spirit Catholic School students

• July 16–23: Holy Spirit Faith Formation students

• July 24–31: Residents within the Holy Spirit Parish boundaries **Roster Space is limited

Player Eligibility

According to Oakland Diocese CYO rules, players must meet at least one of the following to be eligible for Holy Spirit CYO Sports:

• Currently enrolled at Holy Spirit Catholic School

• Enrolled in Holy Spirit Faith Formation for the current year and the previous year

• Reside within the Holy Spirit Parish boundaries (as designated by the Oakland Diocese)

Registration Fees

• Boys Basketball: $365

• Girls Volleyball: $315

• Non-Refundable Processing Fee: $40

Tryouts & Practice starts September 1, 2025
Details will be sent out mid-August

Practice Schedule (Tentative)

Exact practice times will be finalized after tryouts and once coaches are assigned. Below is a general outline to help families plan ahead:

Girls Volleyball (Grades 3–8)

• Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays

• Time Range: 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM

• Note:

  • Younger grades will typically practice earlier in the evening.

  • 7th & 8th grade teams will usually practice later, between 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Boys Basketball (Grades 3–8)

• Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays

• Time Range: 3:30PM-10PM Varies by Grade/Coaches

• Note:

  • Practice slots will be assigned after teams are formed.

  • 3 American and 3 National practice 3:30-4:30PM Tuesday and Thursday

Season Timeline:
September 1-5th Tryouts - Email will be sent out in late August
Teams form mid September
Games Start in November-February
