CYO Bill Ford Scholarship Awards
The CYO Scholarship Committee is now inviting applications for the 2026 “CYO Bill Ford Scholarship Awards."
Current 8th graders who participated or who are currently participating in an Oakland Diocese CYO sport during the 2025-2026 school year are invited to apply.
The CYO Scholarship Committee will award three $1000 scholarships, funded entirely from a grant by an anonymous foundation. The funding foundation requested that these scholarships are named the “CYO Bill Ford Scholarship Awards.”

Holy Spirit CYO Scholarship Program
The Holy Spirit Catholic Youth Organization (HSCYO) Athletic Program will award scholarships to two student athletes. Each Scholarship will be worth $500. An application is attached or may be downloaded from the HSCYO website, holyspiritcyo.com.
The purpose of the HSCYO Scholarship is to recognize athletic achievement, promote leadership, good sportsmanship, encourage high school achievement among all athletes, and to assist with the cost of high school education. A $500 scholarship will be awarded to one male student athlete and one female student athlete annually. In the event of a tie, the scholarship will be divided equally among the recipients.
Any graduating 8th grade student who has participated in Holy Spirit CYO for at least three full seasons (at least one of which must have been during that student’s 8th grade year) will be eligible for this scholarship.
